Daryl Hall: Not a Yacht Rocker.

Daryl Hall-Sacred Songs

Any artist who steps away from a mainstream pop career to produce an album of songs with occult overtones and weird Fripp soundscapes is obviously awesome.

Hall’s label, RCA refused to release the album for fear of alienating his audience…

If that’s not proof of a good album, you must have reached this blog by accident.

Memories! I know of Daryl Hall more from his mainstream hits, but a pal of mine at the time, 10/12 years ago, a very deep person and seriously into music, a lot of genres, he had this album. He always tried to broaden my horizons! Starlight, x.

Couldn’t agree more. They have one of the greatest catalogs in popular music, Daryl’s one of the greatest singers ever, and “War Babies” is made of magic.
